What "Know Your Customer" means

Know Your Customer (KYC) is the standard process by which a financial service confirms that a client is a real, identifiable person, and that the information provided at registration is accurate.

In practice, KYC at Nirevantis GPT means we collect and confirm a small set of basic facts about you: your full legal name, your date of birth, your country of residence, your contact details and the payment method you intend to use. We compare the details you typed into the sign-up form with the details shown on the documents you upload.

What we do not do

We do not ask for your online banking password, your full card PIN, or remote access to your device. No member of our team will ever request those. Any message that does is not from us and should be reported through the abuse form.

What "anti-money laundering" means

Anti-money laundering (AML) comprises the internal safeguards that a financial service provider implements to ensure its platform cannot be exploited for transferring criminal proceeds, supporting unlawful activities, or concealing the legitimate source of money.

AML controls are broader than a one-off identity check. They cover risk classification of new accounts, sanctions and politically-exposed-person screening, limits on unusual funding patterns, record keeping, internal escalation of suspicious activity and, where the applicable law requires it, reporting to the competent authority.

Where AML rules and a client instruction conflict, the AML rules take priority. That can mean a delayed transaction, a request for additional documents, or a restricted account until the matter is resolved.

Rationale

Why verification is required

  1. 01

    Legal obligation

Financial institutions that manage or facilitate the movement of customer funds are typically obligated to perform client identification prior to service delivery. This requirement is mandatory and extends to all accounts without exclusion.

  2. 02

    Protecting your money

Account verification establishes a connection between the account and a single verified individual. This substantially reduces the risk of unauthorized access, and ensures that funds withdrawn are returned exclusively to verified payment methods associated with your identity.

  3. 03

    Keeping the platform clean

Screening keeps sanctioned parties and anonymous shell activity off the platform, which protects every other client using it.

  4. 04

    Faster payouts later

An account verified up front does not have to stop for checks at withdrawal time, which is when delays are least welcome.

Documents

Which documents are accepted

We may request up to three categories of supporting documentation. Submissions must be colour photographs or PDF documents, completely visible in frame, unaltered, displaying all four edges and legible text throughout.

1. Identity document

A government-issued document that shows your photograph, full name, date of birth, document number and expiry date. Commonly accepted types are a passport, a national identity card, or a driving licence where it is issued as a photographic identity document. The document must be valid and not expired.

2. Proof of address

A recent document, usually issued within the last few months, showing your name and your residential address as it appears on your account. Typical examples are a utility statement, a bank or card statement, a local tax or municipal notice, or an official letter from a public authority. Post-office boxes and addresses belonging to someone else are not accepted.

3. Proof of payment method

Documentation demonstrating ownership of the payment source. For a credit or debit card, this typically means a photo of the card displaying your name, the initial six digits and final four digits and the expiry date, with the middle digits and CVV obscured.

For a bank transfer, this means a bank statement or similar document registered in your name containing the account number. For a digital payment account, a screen capture of the account settings displaying your name and account number.

Formats and file size

File size restrictions, supported formats and any further document requirements are available in the verification section of your account. Papers submitted in languages other than the account's selected language may need professional translation; the compliance department will notify you if this is necessary.

Process

The verification steps

  1. 01

    Register

Register using your full legal name, birth date, location of residence, email address and mobile number. Account information that contradicts your submitted documents constitutes the primary reason for processing delays.

  2. 02

    Confirm contact details

Validate receipt of messages to your email and, if applicable, your phone. This confirms these communication methods are under your control.

  3. 03

    Upload your identity document

Upload the pages that carry your photograph and personal data. Some checks include a short liveness or selfie step to confirm the document belongs to the person holding it.

  4. 04

    Upload proof of address

Upload a recent qualifying document in your name at the address on file.

  5. 05

    Confirm the payment method

Provide proof of the instrument you will use to fund and to receive withdrawals.

  6. 06

    Screening and review

Our compliance team reviews the file, runs the required sanctions and risk screening, and either approves the account or asks for a correction.

  7. 07

    Confirmation

You receive a notification once the account status changes. The current status is always visible in the verification area of your account.

Timing

How long a check takes

Most complete submissions are reviewed within a few hours to a couple of business days. Files that need a second look, a translation or an additional document can take longer.

Review times depend on volume, on the quality of the uploads and on whether any additional screening is triggered. The processing window that applies to your account, together with the current status of each document, is shown in your account area - that published figure is the one to rely on, not any figure quoted elsewhere.

  • Legible, thorough, unaltered submissions are processed in the shortest timeframe.
  • Submissions made beyond standard operating hours will be addressed on the subsequent business day.
  • Enhanced review, where required, adds time and is communicated to you.
Troubleshooting

Why a check can be rejected

A rejection is usually a document problem, not a judgement about you. In most cases you can simply re-upload and the account is approved on the second attempt.

ReasonHow to fix it
Image blurred, cropped or glare-coveredRetake photographs in natural light, positioning documents flat on a contrasting background, ensuring all four edges are visible.
Document expiredUpload a currently valid document.
Name or date of birth does not match the accountUpdate the account information, or present evidence of a legal name change with appropriate supporting materials.
Address verification document expired or not registered to youSupply a current acceptable document issued at your stated residential location.
Payment method belongs to a third partyUse an instrument in your own name - third-party funding is not accepted.

Should a determination be unclear, reach out to our support team and request clarification. Where permitted by regulation, we shall provide an explanation.

Ongoing controls

Ongoing transaction monitoring

Verification is not a one-time event. Accounts and transactions are monitored for as long as the relationship lasts.

What is monitored

Account funding and withdrawal activity, switching between payment methods, modifications to residence or communication details, account behavior inconsistent with the information registered at signup, and any conduct identified as concerning by our monitoring systems.

What can happen as a result

  • A request for refreshed documents or an explanation of the source of funds.
  • A temporary hold on a specific transaction while it is reviewed.
  • Adjustment of the limits published in your account.
  • Restriction or closure of the account where the law requires it.

Records

Personal verification information and records of transactions are stored for the duration mandated by governing regulations following account closure, and are administered according to our Privacy Policy. In certain circumstances the law prevents us from telling a client that a report has been made.

Your side

Your obligations

  • Give accurate, current and complete information, and keep it up to date.
  • Use only your own funds and your own payment instruments - never someone else's.
  • Maintain a single account only, and safeguard your login credentials.
  • Respond to document requests within the timeframe stated in the request.
  • Notify us without delay of any change in your place of residence, registered name or payment source.
  • Report any suspected unauthorised access to your account immediately.

The submission of forged or modified documentation is a grave violation. This results in account termination and, where required by applicable law, reporting to the appropriate regulatory body.

Support

Where to ask questions

If anything on this page is unclear, or you want to know the exact status of your own verification, ask us before uploading again.

Who reviews my documents?

A qualified compliance specialist. Documentation is kept on secure infrastructure, and retrieval is restricted to personnel requiring access to conduct the review.

Can I start before I am verified?

You can register and explore the account, but funding, trading and withdrawals depend on the verification status published in your account.

Do I have to verify again later?

Possibly. Documents expire, addresses change and periodic refresh is a normal part of AML compliance. We will contact you if a refresh is needed.

How do I contact the compliance team?

Use the contact route on our contact page and include "KYC" or "verification" in your query, along with the email address linked to your account. Do not transmit document photos via unencrypted methods - instead, use the upload function within your account.

Licenses & regulatory information

Before you upload

Get verified once, cleanly

Ninety per cent of delays come from three things: a blurred photo, an out-of-date address document, and a payment method in someone else's name. Fix those and most checks pass first time.

Need help with a document?

Our support staff can identify the specific document that was not accepted and provide the reason.

  • Check the verification area of your account first.
  • Then contact support with your registered email address.
